Wai Ying Hung wins Golden Horses best supporting actress award

Taipei, Nov. 28 (CNA) Hong Kong actress Wai Ying Hung was announced winner of the Best Supporting Actress of the 46th Golden Horse Awards at a ceremony held in the northern Taiwan county of Taipei Saturday evening.
Wai was honored for her role in the film “At the End of Daybreak”.
“The Award is an enormous encouragement to the actors and actresses”, Wai said after receiving the award at the ceremony held at the Taipei County Hall Building.
Lee Tian Jue, Patrick Dechesne and Alian-Pascal Housiaux were awarded the “Best Art Direction Award ” for their work in the film “Face.”
The Golden Horse Awards was founded in 1962 to promote Taiwanese film production and recognize excellent Taiwanese films and outstanding filmmakers. It has evolved over the years into Chinese language films’ version of the Academy Awards.
