Apple Daily: Brassieres and transsexuals
February 8th, 2010 | Published in Society
The blog of a female designer nicknamed “Bosslady” who sports big breasts and an attractive figure, has become a hot spot on the Internet, receiving 1.3 million hits in a year because of her comments on 23 brassieres available on the market and her tips on keeping the breasts the pride of women and the joy of men.
The bra is more than just an undergarment worn by women to support their breasts. In addition to giving a desirable contour to the bust, it catches the eyes of others, and, like women’s panties, vests and girdles, has created a world market worth billions of dollars.
Female entertainers snap up bras that fallter their bosoms and highlight their cleavages to enhance their sexuality. No wonder a well-known clothing designer has said that without bras, there would be no garment industry.
Ever since women shed their loose garments in the 14th century, underwear tailored to accommodate the breasts has become fashionable, to the great delight of men who feast their lustful eyes on women’s bodies.
Transsexuals should not suffer discrimination
Feminine is the superior gender, as modern women have become the most attractive people in human history owing to the well-developed cosmetics and garment industry, and their beauty would shame that of Helen of Troy.
It is no wonder many men want to transform themselves into women through surgery and drugs, even at the risk of their health.
In Thailand, transsexual performances are one of the pillars of the tourism industry.
However, they are discriminated against more seriously than gays or lesbians. We should give them their due respect because of their all-out pursuit of beauty. (By Maubo Chang)
